Service Terms and Conditions

By booking with us you, agree with the following terms and conditions. If you have any questions or doubts about booking with us, contact us in advance for more information.

Reservation Conditions

Reservations will only be valid after payment is made.

Reservations made by credit card, payment will be made immediately;

Reservations made by bank transfer, the customer will have 48 hours to make the transfer and send the proof to reservations@soniashouse.com

Reservations made with ATM reference, the customer will have 24 hours for payment, validity period of payment codes

Cancellation Policy

  • 15 or more days before arrival – Cancellation can be made free of charge;
  • Between 7 to 14 days before arrival – 50% penalty;
  • Less than 7 days before arrival – 100% penalty of the total reservation amount;
  • No show – 100% penalty of the total reservation amount.

We reserve the right to cancel the booking, in which case all payments already made will be refunded. In this remote event of cancellation, our responsibility to the customer is limited to the refund of payments already made.

Guests who need to cancel a reservation should contact us as soon as possible.

This Privacy Statement is valid for https://soniashouse.com, which is owned and managed by the brand Sónia´s Houses. This Privacy Statement describes how we collect and use information, which may include personal data that you may indicate to us on this site.

Information collection

The types of personal information we collect include:

  • Your name, email address, telephone number and address;
  • Credit card details (card type, credit card number, cardholder name, expiration date and security code);
  • Information about the guest’s stay, including arrival and departure dates, special requests placed, notes on service preferences (including room preferences, amenities, or any other services used).

The information you provide about your marketing preferences or by participating in surveys, contests or promotional offers

Processing purpose

  1. Reservations: We use your personal data to complete and manage your reservation online;
  2. Customer support service: We use your personal data to provide customer support;
  3. Guest Comments: We may use your contact details to invite you by email to write a comment after your stay. In doing so, you can help other travelers to choose the most suitable accommodation. If you submit a comment, it may be posted on our website;
  4. Marketing Activities: We also use your data for marketing-related activities as permitted by law. When we use your personal data for direct marketing purposes, such as commercial newsletters and marketing communications about new services and products or other offers that we think you may be interested in, we include a link that you can use if you do not want us to send you messages in the future;
  5. Other communications: There may be other occasions when we contact you by email, by post, by phone or by text message, depending on the contact details you share with us;
  6. Legal Scope: In certain cases, we need to use the information you provide, which may include personal data, to handle and resolve legal disputes or complaints, for legal investigations, or to execute agreements or to respond to legal requests from the competent authorities (for example, communications to SEF), to the extent that this is required by law;

If we use automated means to process personal data that have legal effects or that significantly affect you, we will implement appropriate measures to safeguard your rights and freedoms, including the right to obtain human intervention.

Number of Guests

The maximum number of guests per room is indicated in the room occupancy details on the website. When the person who makes the booking is different from the lead guest taking up the occupation, the first person may be held responsible for cancellation, non-arrival, and damages as set out within.

Only the lead guest and the named booking party are allowed to use the property and its facilities, any third-party visitors are only allowed access with our express permission.

Guests agree to respect the privacy and peace of all other staying guests, neighbors, and owners. We reserve the right to cancel a booking with immediate effect if guests don´t honour this agreement.

Check-in and Check-out

Check-in from 15:00 pm. We allow late check-ins, upon guest request and are subject to confirmation
Check-out by 11:00 am on the day of departure

Wi-Fi Fair & Appropriate Usage Policy

Where Wi-Fi Internet access is provided, guests accept to use it fairly and appropriately.

Damages & Lost Property

We reserve the right to charge guests for any damages caused through the course of a booking by any member of the booking party. This includes breakages, spillages, stains, damage to furniture or fixtures, and fittings. Any accidental damages should be reported as soon as possible in order to minimize damage and associated costs.

Any lost property left behind by guests, if discovered and found, will be held for a period of 1 month. We will make our best efforts to give back lost property to their owners, but we don´t accept any responsibility in replacing lost items. We encourage guests to ensure they have all their belongings before checking out.
